UPDATED Jan 2012
IMPORTANT: As responsible breeders, we are proud to say we screen our cats for HCM whenever possible and also test for PK deficiency. Results can be seen on the HCM negative register here: http://www.fabcats.com and are also available to prospective kitten buyers when visiting.
Please do your own research and be sure you buy from screened cats!

Many congratulations to our home bred stud cat RW SGC Suntouched Santino (Tino) who gained the prestigious title of REGIONAL WINNER (EN) in 2008/2009 TICA show year and finished in the following places:
1st. BEST BENGAL KITTEN in the UK
2nd BEST BENGAL KITTEN IN NORTHERN EUROPE.
6th. BEST BENGAL KITTEN IN THE WORLD!!
Tino has also returned home from the TICA Title-ist show (Milton Keynes) this weekend as a SUPREME GRAND CHAMPION...which was achieved in 3 straight shows just like his daddy Ozzy...and all at only just 9 months of age! We were wondering if he would be able to get the all-important BEST CAT in a Final on Sunday (having attained the title of Quadruple Grand Champion on Saturday) .....and he actually managed to get it 3 times as well as Finaling a total of 11 times out of the 12 rings!! Tino was a happy, purry and relaxed boy throughout the weekend and we are so very proud to be able to call him 'our own'. Tino was born here at Suntouched Bengals and we very much look forward to some super Tino-babies in 2010!

Show results from the weekend

He went on to obtain the following 12 Finals:
8 x 1st. BEST KITTEN!!!!!
1 x 2nd BEST KITTEN
1 x 3rd. BEST KITTEN
2
X 5th BEST KITTEN
.......from Rings mostly having about 28 kittens in, and went on to be OVERALL BEST IN SHOW KITTEN!

9th MARCH 2009.
Tino had a very successful show this weekend (7th & 8th March 2009) at the OneForAll TICA Cat Show in Brigg, Lincolnshire, by winning 9/10 Rings (1st Colour, 1st Division, 1st Best of Breed every time) and went on to achieve 9 FINALS!

TINO'S RESULTS (12th April 2009):
Tino was the baby of the group when competing against 23 other brown (some Titled) Bengal adults this weekend and also (some Titled) super silvers and snows. There was actually an average of around 50 adult Allbreed cats (TBC) that he competed against each time he Finaled.
He was just entering into the Adult section at 8 months of age at this show and even though he was the youngest of all the Bengals, he managed to attain the titles of CHAMPION and GRAND CHAMPION on Saturday. On Sunday he managed to gain enough Points and Finals to obtain the title of "DOUBLE GRAND CHAMPION" (WOW)!!
As TINO was competing against more mature cats (many with SUPREME GRAND CHAMPION titles)... we are absolutely over the moon that he could still hold his own against the more mature 'Top Dogs' at such a tender young age. We feel sure there must be more to come with our TINO, so do keep checking back for show results and details.

Just take a look at this boy. He is one that we nearly sold...Oops! Thankfully he is still with us, and will be staying here now so that we can capture his wonderful profile and head/overall type in a kitten or two from him sometime in the not too distant future.
Do take a look at his MORE PHOTO'S where you can see his lovely straight profile and tiny rounded, well-set ears as well as his fabulous coat and pattern.

Tino has the best profile and smallest ears that we have ever seen on a Bengal. He has a straight profile with broad nose, a strong broad muzzle, puffy whisker-pads and a good deep chin. He reminds me so much of his great grand-sire 'Wurthy' (Stonehenge Wurthawate of Snopride/Jungle Jem)...and this boy also has a very strong chin and fabulous glitter on a soft, dense, golden pelt. Tino's background colour is pale golden and the rosettes are black outlined, with red centres but no overall rufousing. He has a good tail, quite thick and even, with a rounded tip and clear patterning including rosettes. Tino is a large, chunky, deep bodied boy with very good bone and substance and is a very lively, confident and affectionate lad with a perfect temperament.

PREVIOUS SHOW RESULTS:
15th December 2008. Tino attended the SpoTICAt Cat Show in Coventry (13th/14th December 2008) There was a very good entry of 21 Bengal kittens on Saturday and 19 on Sunday, and a grand total of 63 allbreed kittens in attendance!
We are thrilled to announce that Tino Finaled in 8 Rings and was BEST IN SHOW SHORTHAIR KITTEN. This was a great result as it was Tino's very first show and he is still very much a baby at just 4 months old and was one of the youngest kittens in the show.

After just the one very successful TICA show (see above), Suntouched Santino stands in the TOP 10 BENGAL KITTENS IN NORTHERN EUROPE!

SHOW NEWS:

18th JANUARY Congratulations to Tino for achieving the following at the RagtimeTICA Cat Show on 17th / 18th January 2009 at Wood Green Animal Shelter, Godmanchester, Cambridge.

1st BEST COLOUR X 8 TIMES
1st BEST DIVISION X 8 TIMES
1st BEST OF BREED X 8 TIMES
9 X FINALS!

Tino went on to Final no less than 9 times out of a possible 12, and was overall BEST IN SHOW SHORTHAIR KITTEN, (for the second time).....so we were absolutely blown away! Well done Tino!
-------------------------------------------------------------
RESULTS 26th April 2009
Tino has returned from his second TICA adult show, where he was (again) the very youngest of them all (up to about 25 Bengals) at 8 months old. He won/was placed in 10/12 Rings and now has the title of TRIPLE GRAND CHAMPION! Well done Tino!
We would also like to say how proud we are of his 1/2 sister Anya, who also titled on the weekend (details on Queens page).

Introducing our home-bred potential stud cat:

SUNTOUCHED AKULE (F6)

(NOT YET BRED)

SHOW NEWS (January 2012)
Our home-bred boy Suntouched Akule is currently standing as NUMBER 1 Brown Spotted Bengal kitten in Western Europe! Way to go Akule!

This is our home bred boy Akule, a sweet lad with a very wild look. He has a very puffy nose leather like the Asian Leopard Cat, and still has light patches (ocelli) on the backs of his ears. This is a trait that he may not keep, but he also has a white tummy which we hope he will keep because his sire has a white tummy and the gene is carried on the dam's side too.

Akule has a delightful temperament, just like his mum RW SGC SUNTOUCHED ANYA, who can be seen on our Bengal Queens page. He has the same funny & sweet personality, confidence and loving, purry nature. These are all traits we want to produce in our Bengals, as well as a healthy, show quality cat that is a credit to both ourselves and the breed.

Suntouched Akule is doing well on the show bench. He currently stands as
1st BEST BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL IN WESTERN EUROPE!!!

We hope he will go on the gain titles as an adult in the show ring and follow in the very successful paw-steps of his mum Anya and both grand-parents.

Akule will stay with us for a while so we can enjoy him for him, enjoy showing him and also hopefully enjoy a litter or two from him later on.

(NOT YET BRED)

CHAMPION SUNTOUCHED SANTORINO

Introducing Santorino, AKA 'Teddy'.
This boy was the smallest in the litter, but turned out to be a real stunner once he caught his siblings up. He is now a large sturdy boy and looks very similar to his daddy Tino.

We took Teddy to a few shows as a kitten and he got lots of finals, but he didn't take to the show scene at all. He is a shy boy with a really sweet temperament so we decided to retire him from the show ring when he was a very young adult of just 9 months.

As well as gaining finals as a kitten, Teddy also managed to gain the title of CHAMPION quite easily when he became an adult, despite his shyness.
We hope to find Teddy a girlfriend before he gets neutered and homed as a pet, as we think he is too good not to breed, though we will be happy to see him in a quiet pet
home where he will feel relaxed.

CHAMPION SUNTOUCHED CHESTER

Here we have another home bred titled potential stud cat.

Chester has attended just one TICA show as an adult and he came home a Champion! He behaved impeccably and made us very proud.

We hope Chester will stay with us long enough for us to get a litter or two from him before he is homed as a pet. He is such a sweet and gentle boy he really ought to be spending his life as someone's much-loved lapcat.

(also both parents screened clear for HCM in '08)

This boy is a home-bred son of our fabulous RW SGC stud cat Santino, who is also home bred. We love Tango's profile which is straight and is complimented by a good strong chin with plenty of strength and depth to his muzzle. He has large nocturnal eyes with very good width between and a good broad nose. His ears are small and neat and are nicely set to the side of his rounded head and back-skull.

Tango has a very clear and brightly coloured 3 tone pattern on a soft glittered coat and like our other home bred Bengal cats, he has a super temperament!

Photo's shown here were taken at the Regional Show 2010 held in Rickmansworth UK. The bottom photo shows Tango being awarded 'Best Kitten in Show' by our lovely UK judge Lindsey Wright. Thankyou Lindsey!

REFERENCE SIRES.
These include Bengal stud cats that we have owned or used for stud and who have produced offspring. These cats may not be living with us as they may be retired and/or neutered, but we keep them here on the website for reference purposes as they were once part of our cherished family...and our life.

SUNTOUCHED METALICA (AKA Tali)

Here we have our super fully rosetted Silver Bengal boy Tali, who carries the Blue-eyed (Seal lynx point) Snow gene.
He is bred from Bundas Cream Ice (Canadian Import) and our own Suntouched Talia. This boy is super, having good type, with a (very) straight profile, puffy whisker pads and a deep chin. His green eyes have striking spectacles surrounding them that enhance his wild look. He is fully rosetted with Black outlined rosettes (Talia is great at producing these!)...NO rib bars whatsoever, on a soft, highly glittered pelt and he has a good short, thick tail. His temperament is like the others in this litter (we are keeping his sister as a show/breed girl)...very sweet, gentle and affectionate. His coat is not completely tarnish free but he will be great for a silver/snow program and for putting (very) straight profiles and black outlined rosettes onto Brown and Silver Bengals.

This fabulous big boy has really good boning and type and the most fantastic of temperaments! He is covered in thick, black-outlined doughnut rosettes on a very soft, short and dense coat full of glitter. He has very good ears...small, rounded and well set, with good width between. His profile is straight and his chin is strong and deep. As you can see, his pattern is very clear and he has a very thick, medium short tail with a rounded tip.

Many thanks to Sarah at Westwinds Bengals for entrusting us with such a super Bengal boy.
